Marching Band

The Ryle High School marching band is a state finalist organization that prides themselves on being a growing community of excellence and musical achievement.

The Marching Raiders are one of the finest Marching Bands in our great commonwealth. Traditionally the largest single after school activity at Larry A. Ryle High School, the Marching Raiders have a long and proud tradition of excellence. They have been a 7-time Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) State Finalist, a 3-time Bands of America (BOA) Regional Finalist, and a BOA Grand National Semifinalist. Additionally, the Marching Raiders recently performed as a part of the 2022 Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Waikiki, HI, where they were recognized as the top performing band in the parade.

The Marching Raiders rehearse after school in the summer and fall, and perform at both home Varsity football games and marching band competitions in the KMEA, BOA, and Mid-State Band Association (MSBA) circuits.
