Jazz Bands
Ryle High School offers 2 opportunities for students to participate in jazz band. Both are held after school and include auditioned and non-auditioned ensembles, allowing for a variety of instruments and experience levels to participate.
Jazz Lab Band
The Ryle Jazz Lab Band rehearses after school and is open to all band instruments. In addition to all concert band instruments, this ensemble includes a rhythm section with piano, bass, guitar, and drum set.
Students will rehearse and perform several pieces written for jazz bands over the course of the year. Additionally, students have many opportunities to develop improvisation skills. An audition is not required to be a member of this group.
Jazz Ensemble
