Hello Ryle Band Families,
It was another fantastic weekend for the Marching Raiders! 2nd place out of 12 of our state’s finest bands! I hope you and the students are enjoying the show as much as I am enjoying putting it together! Can’t wait to finish the show over the next few weeks! Lots of additions to the show in the coming weeks.
Additionally, a HUGE congratulations to our own Tyler Trostle for being named a National Merit Semifinalist!!! He is one of only three students at Ryle and one of five in the entire district! Way to go Tyler, we are so proud of you!!!
This week is our Ryle Tournament of Bands. As you can imagine, with 16 bands and their spectators here on campus, this is a large scale event! As such, we need all hands on deck to make the day a success. Please see attached itinerary for our students. They will have jobs throughout the day, as well as cleanup after the event. All students will need to stay and do their assigned cleanup at the end of the event! If you’re able to volunteer, please sign up for a shift on Charms. This is one of our largest fundraisers of the year, so let’s show the state how Ryle puts on a show!!!
