Ryle Band Update, Quarantine Edition
Hello Ryle Band Families,
First, we hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy in this most unique time.
Our boosters and instructors continue to adjust to plan for future possibilities. We will do everything we can to keep you updated as we move forward and plans materialize.
Speaking of moving forward, amidst the COVID-19 adjustments, we have had to move our general parent meeting for the boosters from April to May. We will be having a meeting on Thursday, May 21 at 7:00 pm; it would be wonderful if we were able to have it in person, but we may end up needing to have it virtually. We will be in touch continually to keep you updated. One important point of business at this meeting will be the election of a new Secretary, as Staci’s second term is expiring. Interested? Contact Ryan Royse at thebandfather@gmail.com
As we’ve been continually adjusting our calendar to accommodate COVID-19 demands, sadly, we have had to cancel the senior trip. Families will be fully refunded, and we are considering other ways to celebrate our fabulous class of 2020. Refunds for all spring activities are in progress; if you have questions about yours, contact Treasurer Jenny Goodridge at jeantreas71@gmail.com
Stay tuned to Mr. Craig’s updates for information on the marching band leadership team auditions, drum major auditions, and all upcoming ensemble updates.
